Burnout

A news article about a transplant patient in England inspired this image: the woman died of pneumonia after she was given the lungs of someone who had smoked for 30 years. The message of this image is grinding fatigue, despair and ... burnout. If you've ever experienced chronic illness -- or an addiction, like I smoked for 23 years -- you might know how this feels.
